While NWLC does not pay interns who come to NWLC at any time of the year to earn academic credits, NWLC will work with the intern`s college or university to meet the center`s regulatory and educational obligations associated with earning academic credits for their work at the center. Other benefits of participating in the NWLC internship program include: The National Women`s Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional Division I women`s soccer league with the most prolific national and international players from around the world. The league consists of Angel City FC, Chicago Red Stars, Houston Dash, Kansas City Current, North Carolina Courage, Orlando Pride, Portland Thorns FC, OL Reign, Racing Louisville FC, San Diego Football Club, NJ/NY Gotham FC and Washington Spirit. As part of its paid summer internship program, NWLC is honored to welcome intern Iris Feldman Mitgang to support the efforts of NWLC judges and courts. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please submit a complete application package indicating whether you are applying to the Year-Round Academic Credit Program or the Paid Summer Internship Program. A complete application package includes a cover letter, your resume, transcript, sample handwriting and contact information for three supervisors. NWLC offers scholarships of $100.00 per month, which cannot exceed $600 for the duration of the internship, to cover food and transportation costs for interns receiving college/university credits. NWLC offers internships in administration and finance, communications, development, child care/early learning and income security, reproductive health and rights, workplace education and equity, and strategy and policy. NWLC offers a limited number of paid summer internships with a commitment to pay $5,625 for the duration of the internship program. This is a 10-week program that usually runs between the months of May and August with flexible start dates. NWLC welcomes the opportunity to work with interns who are partially or fully funded by third parties.

If third-party funding is less than what the NWLC has committed to pay summer interns, NWLC will close the wage gap. From time to time, the U.S. Soccer Federation seeks motivated individuals to fill full-time, part-time, temporary, intern, and volunteer positions. The NWLC Academic Credit Internship Program is a year-round program offered to students who receive academic credits from an accredited college or university. U.S. internships Soccer, called associates, are 5-6 month full-time paid positions that impact the soccer world in the United States.
